Brooklyn Guide #1: Upstate Stock + Brooklyn Brewery
There are a ton of places to visit over here in Brooklyn! From the street art, to the vintage thrift shops, to the rooftop bars - you could never get tired of this place! Brooklyn is definitely one of our favorite boroughs in New York City and we're always exploring the neighborhood.
Here are a few of our favorite hot spots that we recommend checking out:
Upstate Stock (2 Berry Street. Brooklyn, NY. 11249)
Upstate Stock is a rustic, americana cafe and retail store that believes in high quality manufacturing, delicious coffee, and tasty matcha. They have specialized camp-themed flavorful drinks that include the Campfire Latte (latte with smoked maple syrup & topped with smoked sea salt), the Island Latte (latte with carob powder, coconut oil, & topped with crushed coconut), and the Coconut Matcha Latte (matcha latte with coconut oil, honey, & topped with crushed coconut).
They also carry their own brand name merchandise and their stockist include American-made goods from Craighill Co., designer clothes from Knickerbocker MFG, apothecary from our friend over at Empire Apothecary, leather accessories from Tres Cuevos, and much more!
Brooklyn Brewery (79 N 11th St. Brooklyn, NY 11249)
The Brooklyn Brewery was first founded in 1988 and has some of the best selection of beers in all of NYC!
You can take a tour around the brewery during their public hours and enjoy a delicious beer with the staff members as you learn the history about the Brooklyn-way of drinking!
Some of our top favorite flavors include:
BROOKLYN LAGER Lager - Vienna, 5.2% ABV
Brooklyn Summer Ale Pale Ale - English, 5% ABV
After your visit, you can head on over to Artists&Fleas (only open on Satrudays & Sundays), Smorgasborg (every Saturday), or The Brooklyn Bowl for a fun night out with your buds!
Keep an eye out for more of our Brooklyn Guides! 'Till then: happy exploring!
